In addition to keeping our current membership informed and provided with resources, this website is one of our continuing efforts to reach out to University Center Programs that are not members. For over a decade the EAUC has been working to advance the Economic Development Administration's University Center Program. It is our belief that the program is of great value because institutions of higher education are best suited to support and foster positive economic development. The program's value is evident as state and local governments have turned to institutions of higher education to help spur growth in lackluster economies. By allying with the EAUC, University Center Programs from across the nation have a unified voice in Washington that carries clout. Membership enables program staff to stay informed of legislation that has a direct impact on them. In addition, joining the EAUC enables programs to network with each other to pool resources, information and share expertise.
